Solidaires Back Market

Yesterday, management refused to recognize Back Makers United as a union. We regret this decision, which means a vote will now have to take place on January 12th.

We are worried and saddened that management has chosen to hire a notorious union-busting law firm rather than recognizing Back Makers United voluntarily.

Fellow Back Makers in the EU, we ask you to show your solidarity with Back Makers United! Strong worker representation in one region strengthens our collective voice globally. The outcome of this vote matters for all of us.

Our colleagues in New York have decided to unionize through OPEIU Local 153!

They’re unionizing because they believe that, together, we can shape a better workplace for everybody at BM.

In the US, the right to unionize is not easily granted like in France or Spain. Our US colleagues had to do an incredible job to set the foundations for a union there.

Let us all support them!

We, Solidaires Informatique Back Market, are calling for a strike on Wednesday, September 10th, in response to the national call.

We invite all Back Makers with a French contract to join us in mobilizing for social justice, climate action, and a better future.
