This was a hell of a bad pun. You know what else is a bad joke? Constantly pushing a pro-AI speech without any nuances. We are getting flooded with messages from the company telling us what AI is and instructing us on how we should have integrated it in our daily work life.
As members from Back Market unions â CGT France, CGT Spain, Solidaires Informatique â, we know the extensive adoption of AI already has serious consequences on the workforce. We believe it is not going to stop anytime soon, and that is why we need a dialogue.
Management is never taking into consideration the downsides of this technology, nor the impact it might have on our jobs and health, or on the environment. And never taking into consideration our feedback â when we feel safe to actually share some.
Nobody has ever clearly and widely asked employees how they feel about this, and what the consequences of using this âtoolâ are. Until now, we heard only one voice. We are promised that this âtoolâ is improving our lives significantly. How can we know that this is true if nobody ever asked for our sincere opinion?
