Victory in Spain on the vacation policy
Did you know that in Spain, there is no legal need to wait for the effective accrual of holidays in order to enjoy your days off?
The constraint, imposed by the company, was restricting the employees’ freedom of organizing their annual leave, according to their needs.
CGT and individual Back Makers confronted management about the policy. Now we can schedule our annual leave without this limitation!
Office access: No phone? No problem!
As expected from Badge Market, if you visit another office—maybe for the BackCon?—you may be told to install a virtual badge on your phone. But guess what: your personal phone is personal. Using your own device for work-related matters is a choice, not an obligation.
If you want to free your phone from unwanted apps, you have the right to get a physical badge. No set up, no hassle: a simple alternative respecting your boundaries.
We know convenience is an easy excuse, but let’s be real: what’s more convenient than the company providing the tools needed for work? A simple solution exists, so why not use it?
To request yours, reach out to the office manager. Warning: the response won’t be enthusiastic—don’t let that stop you. You’re not asking for a favor, you’re asserting a right. If you face silence or pushback, contact us.
Our opinion on the burn-out trainings
The trainings’ aim is not to help us cope with stress, but to let management pretend they’re doing something about it.

Air Quality in Paris is improved
There was a defect in the ventilation system. Big thanks to the individual Back Makers who did everything to fix it. We regret management did not care about the issue.
Keeper Test is out
In the Pirate Letter #1, we revealed managers were asked on Elevo who they’d be “relieved” to see leave. Our representatives in the French Work Council (CSE) succeeded in having the question removed.
