Join Us
Solidaires Informatique is a French union. If you are not under a French contract, or if you are but don’t feel comfortable with the language, please contact the Back Market section directly so that we can discuss the best way for you to get involved.
Our members are colleagues who have chosen to get involved as private individuals. If you would like to participate, whether occasionally or regularly, take part in discussions, share your ideas, or simply meet fellow members, you are welcome to join us.
Membership is confidential and is not disclosed to Back Market. You can participate safely if you choose to do so. Those who are exposed have deliberately made that choice.
To join, you first need to join Solidaires Informatique at the national level. The union dues that fund our activities are adjusted based on salary, and qualify for a tax credit in France (see conditions).
Solidaires Informatique is organized both
- in company local branches 🇫🇷, like ours, which bring together members from the same company,
- and in geographic local branches 🇫🇷, which bring together members from the same area, regardless of their company.
Even if you work entirely remotely, there are probably fellow members nearby!
Each company or geographic branch regularly organizes meetings and actions. This is also the case for us at Back Market.
Once your membership is confirmed, you will be able to participate in the activities of the Back Market branch and/or the one of your region. It’s up to you to decide—there is no obligation.
