Yesterday, management refused to recognize Back Makers United as a union. We regret this decision, which means a vote will now have to take place on January 12th.

We are worried and saddened that management has chosen to hire a notorious union-busting law firm rather than recognizing Back Makers United voluntarily.

US Back Makers are unionizing!

Our colleagues in New York have decided to unionize through OPEIU Local 153!

They’re unionizing because they believe that, together, we can shape a better workplace for everybody at BM.

In the US, the right to unionize is not easily granted like in France or Spain. Our US colleagues had to do an incredible job to set the foundations for a union there.
